The ETC LDI Student Sponsorship (Later renamed the Fred Foster Student Mentorship Program) has been organized by one of the lighting leading company, Electronic Theatre Controls for a few decades.

Billy was selected the only international (outside USA) student to be sponsored of the year, and was the first Asia studying student who was granted the sponsorship.
