Arise, Shine! (2013)
Immersive light installation and interactive sketchbooks

Born from a vision drawn during a short prayer, this installation brings Matthew 5:14–15 to life. It serves as a reminder that even when confined within a small, dark room, we still hold the capacity to be the light and illuminate the entire space for everyone around us. 

In its original exhibition, this piece manifested as a hidden, intimate sanctuary where an empty sketchbook and colored pencils were left on a table—quietly welcoming participants to express their feelings, find their voice, and actively become a light within the dark.
