希望の光 [Light of Hope] (2019)
Light installation with decorated objects

Drawing inspiration from "The Little Match Girl," this piece reimagines the matchstick as a symbol of memory, prayer, and flickering hope, directly asking the viewer: "Do you want some matches?" 

Yet, unlike the fleeting warmth of a fairy tale, the light radiating from this matchbox points to an eternal, divine source. Anchored in the biblical truth that "God is light," the installation reveals that sacred hope is ever-present and invites us to cultivate a quiet sensitivity to see the divine everywhere.
